Have you ever experienced that amazing feeling when you’ve asked the Universe for something or set an intention and then it somehow appears before your eyes? It may not be instant (but sometimes it is… I often try to manifest a great parking spot when I’m at the shopping centre!) but it still makes you stop for a second and revel in the awe of that situation. Well, this is manifestation!
Manifestation and The Law of Attraction go hand in hand, where the basic premise of The Law of Attraction is ‘like attracts like’. This means that we draw ourselves vibrationally to a concept that we focus on, manifesting this into our reality. If you focus on positive thoughts and set goals to achieve, you will eventually achieve them. Similarly, if you focus on negative thoughts, you will attract negative vibrational situations and people.
The Law of Attraction Isn’t A Magic Wand
Despite the fact that The Law of Attraction sounds like a super easy fix-all, it does take some work. Years of limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, fears and blocks have been wired into our brain, so getting us out of this pattern is not what we are used to. In order to start manifesting and see The Law of Attraction in play, we need to replace the negative thoughts of our subconscious rewire our brain with positive ones.
Implement The Law of Attraction
Below I’ve listed a few steps to help you get started on your journey with The Law of Attraction and manifesting your dreams.
- Shift Your Focus
Pay attention to your thoughts, do you focus on the negative or the positive? Shift your focus onto the positive and be a half-full person. Take every experience as a learning opportunity to problem solve and you will quickly build confidence and raise your vibration.
- Set Your Intention
Now you’re on a positive path, it is time to focus on what you want – your goals and dreams. Write down your goals, type them in your phone, put them on your mirror – but whatever you choose, be specific as you can. Use photos, drawings, newspaper clippings, business cards – anything at all that helps you to visualise your intention.
In this next step, you need to visualise yourself as if you had already reached these goals/dream, right down to the very last detail. How will you look/feel/act if you had already achieved them? Do this often to continue to reaffirm your goals and raise your vibration.
- Be Grateful
Show gratitude for what you have in your life, you can even keep a daily gratitude journal if you like, but take time to thank the Universe and open up a dialogue about what you are thankful for.
- Surrender to the Outcome
Now it is time to go with the flow, let yourself be grateful and content with whatever happens in your life. Take each step as a learning opportunity and don’t obsess over it, it is time to let go. In doing this, you release the energetic resistance that stops you from manifesting your dreams.
- Trust in the Divine Timing
Most likely the things you want won’t be manifested instantly. Trust that the Universe hears you and will deliver everything at the time that is best for you. It is important to live your life where you are right now, be grateful and understand that everything is unfolding as it should. You need to go through certain steps to evolve on your life path, learn lessons and heal wounds so that you are ready for your manifestations when they appear.
